Experience

Margaret Macleod has served the nonprofit community since 1993 in every capacity: from support staff, to program management, to executive leadership and governance, and as a consultant since 2014.  Her board service has included Georges River Land Trust in Rockland, the Terra Diddle Collective in Camden, and the Council of the UU Church of Belfast.

She received her Bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College, and went on to learn about nonprofits and fundraising in the trenches at Greenpeace, Maine Audubon, Ashwood Waldorf School, and at The Apprenticeshop, where she served as both Development Director and Executive Director.
